SSC CGL Notification 2019

Staff selection Commissioner (SSC) has released the Combined Graduate Level -2019 notification for the recruitment of Group B & C category posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in its Sub-ordinate offices on the given date in SSC calendar 2019-21.

With the release of the Notification, SSC has also activated the link to apply for the Exam with the last date to apply i.e 25th November 2019 after which link would get deactivated. As per the Notification, Tier-I of the Computer based Exam (CBE)  would be conducted from 2 March to 11 March, 2020 and those who qualify the Tier-I level, they would go for the Tier-II and Tier III level  from 22nd June to 25th June, 2020. The final Selection for the Job would totally depend upon overall score of the applicant in all Tiers.  

This year SSC has made one major change in qualifying the candidates for the next Tier.  From now, candidates would get shortlisted category-wise. For Different categories, different minimum qualifying marks would be there. The minimum qualifying marks as per the notification

SSC CGL Exam 2019 Dates

As per the Notification released by the SSC on 22nd October 2019, Tier-I is scheduled to be held from 02.03.2020 to 11.03.2020 followed by Tier II & Tier III. Below are some of the notified  dates given by SSC.

How to Apply for the Exam

With the release of the notification, SSC has also activated the link for the aspirants to register for the Exam. This link will remain active from 22.10.2019 to 25.11.2019. But it is very much advisable to all the aspirants that do not wait for the last date as server usually get stuck due to heavy load of traffic. In this regard SSC has also issued a notice. Follow the Steps to Apply for the Exam

1.      Click on https://ssc.nic.in/

2.      Click New registration and enter all the Valid Information like Name, address, Father name, Mother name, matriculation Roll no., phone no. and active Email id

3.      Re-verify all the details and then click on Submit button

4.      Registration Id and password will be received on your registered Email id and phone no.

5.      Re-enter your Registration id and password to complete the registration.

6.      Now candidates need to upload recent colored photograph with white background and Signature on white paper with only Black or Blue pen

SSC CGL Exam Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria has been divided by SSC into 3 categories for the SSC-CGL 2019 exam.

4.      Physical Standard requirement for particular posts

Nationality/ Citizenship - Candidate must be a Citizen on India

Education Qualification

Candidate must have a Graduate Degree from Recognized university or Institute on or before 01.01.2020.

The Candidates who are appearing in their final year of their graduation can also apply, but they must posse’s essential qualification on or before 01.01.2020.

 

SSC CGL Post

Education Qualification as on 01.01.2020

Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute

Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

Junior Statistical Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;

Or

 Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years of the graduation course.

All Other Post

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

 SSC has set different age bracket for different post. To apply for the exam, Minimum age required is 18 years and the maximum age 32 years.
